Sarah & James’ beautiful wedding day
There are some wedding days that are simply filled with happiness from beginning to end, and Sarah & James’ wedding was certainly one of them.
It was an absolute joy to capture their day and to see just how much love surrounded these two. From the moment the celebrations began, there was such a warm and relaxed atmosphere, with family and friends coming together to share in a very special chapter of their story.
The day started at Aberdeen House, where Sarah & James chose to have a simple and elegant ceremony. It was intimate, heartfelt and beautifully personal, the perfect way for them to begin their married life together.
After the ceremony, we headed to the beach for a little quiet time away from the celebrations. I always love these moments on a wedding day. Everything slows down for a while and the couple gets a chance to take it all in — they’re married! With the sea and coastline behind them, we created some beautiful, natural portraits while Sarah & James simply enjoyed being together. There was no need for anything overly posed or complicated; the connection between them said everything. Just the two of them, a beautiful coastal setting and those lovely newlywed moments.
One of my favourite things about photographing weddings is capturing all those little moments in between the big ones. The smiles, the hugs, the glances across the room and the laughter that happens when nobody is thinking about the camera. Sarah & James’ day was full of them.
From their elegant ceremony at Aberdeen House, to those peaceful moments together on the beach, and finally celebrating with everyone at San Clu Hotel, it was a genuinely beautiful wedding to photograph.
